Cupertino-based gadget giant, Apple, has just released a newer version, tagged as 4.2, of its Apple Store app and has been made available for download via the App Store. Whereas you might notice quite a few new things, the update brings two highly noticeable features: EasyPay and Personal Pickup.
Personal Pickup lets you buy something via the app and pick up your order at any Apple Retail Store. The feature is currently made available in the U.S. and Apple claims “most in-stock orders are available for pickup within an hour.”
On the other hand, EasyPay lets your make in-store purchases simpler by letting you scan the barcode of a product and mark the purchase in the app. Simply enter a store, select a gadget, pay with your iDevice and walk away. Future of purchase is here.
Whereas most of you might be happy with the latest addition, there are a few limitations which makes the feature to only work over the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S, mainly due t the older iPhone models’ cameras.
In addition, the app lets your keep a track of your current as well as previous orders.
