Over at the MacWorld hints section someone has devised a clever way to snap photos using the headphone volume control found on iPhone earbuds.
It’s simple, really. Because the headphones have a volume up button, you can easily use that (while they’re connected, of course) to snap a photo rather than the shutter button on the iPhone. They say that this also makes it much easier to keep your iPhone steady for some shots.
What’s also mentioned is the possibility of pairing your iPhone with bluetooth device and using that as a way to snap a photo. Pretty crafty, eh?
And as the original poster says, it’s not something we think about, but it makes sense after the fact. Very true, and very useful.
