Net Applications, which specializes in collecting web marketshare information, has compiled some data on mobile internet usage and discovered that iOS devices make up 60 percent of mobile internet traffic (via MacRumors) . That of course includes devices such as the iPhone line, iPod touch and iPad.
In fact, it’s because of those three devices that Apple is going strong in mobile web. Each of those devices is considered a market leader in its respective area.
Still, that’s not to discount any of the other devices out there. Android web use is always on the increase as well. Hover Symbian and BlackBerry are declining.
