The App Store for iOS has been updated in its normal fashion. The latest round of featured apps is up just as it is every week. What’s new then? The iPad has a new feature for usability.
Previously, the iPad’s App Store had a small, boxed-in set of featured apps. These were divided into small groups showcasing the featured app. You could scroll back and forth between them by tapping right or left.
This has been updated. Now, it’s a larger division, and the said portion of the screen spans across the iPad. Rather than turning virtual pages, and waiting for a short load time, you can swipe to scroll through the apps. It’s faster and much easier on the user end.
