The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is one of the season’s biggest games. Bethesda has put an insane amount of work into creating a massive, living world for gamers to explore. Within this world are books that players can actually read. It just adds to the immersive nature of the game.
Those books are actually composed of a plain text file embedded within the game, according to TAUW. Someone actually managed to take that and turn it into an eBook that can be read on the iPad or any other eReader device you have(link below).
Of course, this raises some concerns about the legality. Honestly, it’s hard to say. As TAUW points out, it’s just background and contains no spoilers. It’s not being sold either, it’s a free download. So maybe Bethesda will be cool with it and just let it run as a free promotional tool for the game.
Either way, you can check out the text here.
