Christmas is just around the corner. That means it’s time to settle in with the family and watch A Christmas Story on TBS over and over and over again. Nice way to spend the day, if you ask me.
To help get everyone in the holiday spirits, we’ve decided to post a list of Christmas-y and holiday-type apps. Have a look below.
1) A Christmas Tale HD
A Christmas Tale HD is a colorful, interactive Christmas book for children. It’s something that parents can enjoy with the kid, or that the kid can read alone as it has an option that reads to the child. Pretty cool.
2) Christmas Music Trees
This app is free (free is good!). It plays Christmas music while you watch pretty little Christmas trees light the night. If you need some Christmas music (and we know some folks are already tired of it) then go ahead and check out this app.
3) Dr. Seuss Camera – The Grinch Edition
You’re a mean one, Mr. Grinch. Yeah, yeah, you knew anything that had to do with the Grinch would probably begin with that, so if you saw that coming, just know it was too easy.
This one is free now, so some past users are upset. The good news? You don’t have to pay for it. The bad news? It’s ad-supported. Still, it’s a free Mac App and you can watch a nice little fireplace burn and imagine the warmth. The best part? No danger of carbon monoxide poisoning. Which, by the way, if you plan on using the fireplace, make sure you clean that sucker out and stay safe.
Enjoy the Holidays!
Don’t be a grumpy old poopie head. Enjoy the holidays. If you don’t have anyone to spend it with, chill at a friend’s house. If you don’t have friends, take a step back and re-examine yourself. Either way, enjoy the holidays and stay safe.
