According to reports, Apple may launch their HDTV around the summer of 2012.
DigiTimes is reporting that Apple may be prepping their long-rumored HDTV for a mid 2012 launch. If true, the television will be available in two sizes: 32-inch and 37-inch.
The report does say that production should begin during the first quarter of 2012. If this happens, Apple will try launch around Q2 or Q3.
“ Instead of a form of set-top box (STB) like the Apple TV launched in 2006, Apple’s new products will be full TV sets…” says the report. Sharp is said to be supplying the displays. It looks like Apple’s HDTV may be a reality. Heck, even Wall Street Journal wrote about it.
