RedSn0w Gets Updated, Stability Improvements and More

redsn0w

The Dev-Team has posted an update to inform jailbreakers that they have updated RedSn0w to version 0.9.10b5c, which adds some bug fixes. It was posted recently with a message about what the update includes.

Here’s what they had to say on their official blog:

“Updates #5b and #5c: Version b5b fixes an issue with using custom ramdisks on iPhone3G and iPod2G, and version b5c prevents redsn0w from crashing due to the ever-growing ramdisk size :) .

TIP: If auto-detection fails and redsn0w tells you no identifying data as wound, you can always pre-select the appropriate 5.0.1 IPSW using “Extras->Select IPSW”.”

We will update our downloads page to reflect the new software. In the meantime, you can go to the download links that the Dev-Team provided:
