Super Bowl XLVI is right around the corner. That means it’s time to start preparing for the big game. Whether you need to cook out, make some easy finger foods, mix drinks or just follow the big game, we have you covered. Pick up some rockin’ apps from the App Store to get you through the game.
Whether you’re a Patriots fan or a Giants fan, it’s time to sit back and enjoy. Kickoff time is Sunday Feb. 5 at 6:30pm ET. Don’t forget to tune in.
Now, without further ado, the apps.
1) Super Bowl XLVI Guide
This is especially made for those who are going to be attending. Sure, you don’t have to make the big game to download the app. You can always just pretend you are there. This app has guides to local restaurants, will help you find your parking space, seating and more. It even has roadmaps to help you get around. If not, just pretend you’re there and enjoy the app and follow all the social media buzz with NFL Huddle.
2) NFL ’11
Keep up with the game and scores in real time with this app. Quarterly audio highlights and breaking news. This app has it. You may not be able to catch the big game on it, but you can check out scores and keep up with the happenings live. Very cool, indeed.
3) Super Ads: Super Bowl Commercials
We all know that the best part of the Super Bowl isn’t the game. It’s the commercials! Oh yeah. At least that’s what we watch. Heck. we watch them the next day online. It’s pretty freakin’ awesome that way. The app will cost you a bit, but you can watch a long history of Super Bowl ads. It’s really cool, actually.
4) Appetizers & Snack Recipes
If you want to play chef, this app will help. It’s all about appetizers and snacks. Our very own editor at iSmashPhone loves to do some major cooking. He’s quite the chef, too. You can bet he will be throwing a Super Bowl XLVI party and inviting his buddies for food and drinks. This app may be a start for a great Sunday night.
5) Mixology Drink Recipes
There’s usually a bit of drinking before, during and after the game. Okay, a lot of drinking. Why not play bartender and mix a few drinks for your buddies as you watch the big game? Oh yeah, that’s how it goes. Have some fun, eat some snacks, have a few drinks. Not too many, you want to get home safe.
Have fun watching the game. Enjoy the time with friends, family, just don’t be too hungover for the next day. Oh, and make it home safe. Remember, celebrating is good, but the Super Bowl is supposed to be a fun time, not a bad one. Don’t forget to enjoy the commercials. Don’t forget to enjoy Super Bowl Halftime performers, Madonna, Nicki Manaj and M.I.A. Maybe it will go better than the Black Eyed Peas’ performance did. Talented group, just a bad show.
