An executive at Foxconn claims that the new iPhone will arrive in October.
We’ve heard that Foxconn is hiring in hopes of increasing production for the next iPhone. We also heard last week that a Foxconn recruiter believed that the new handset would launch in June. Whether or not he actually knew is unclear, but he probably based it on the company’s hiring goal.
Now we are hearing that the head of human resources at Foxconn’s Taiyuan factory believes that the new device will launch in October. The employee spoke with South Korea’s Maeil Business Newspaper, and said, “We just got the order. It [the release] will be around October.”
They are hiring a “large number of workers,” says the human resources head.
