iPad mini rumors have existed since the introduction of the original iPad.
Another day another iPad mini rumor. This latest one claims that the iPad mini will launch later this year.
It comes from Chinese website NetEase (via Electronista) that writes that the iPad mini will arrive around the third quarter of 2012. The claim is that it’s going to be a way to counter the upcoming Windows tablets.
If the report is accurate, the smaller tablets will run somewhere between $249 and $299. Foxconn and Pegatron will likely be behind the production of this mythical tablet.
Our guess? We will be riding unicorns before we are tapping away at iPad minis. If you really want an iPad mini, it’s available here for $199.
