The new iPad has arrived at nine additional countries, which means it’s now available across a total of 57 markets.
Today, it will be available in Columbia, Estonia, India, Israel, Latvia, Lithunia, Montenegro, South Africa and Thailand. As said before 4G LTE only works in the US and Canada. That’s still the case.
As of yet, the tablet has not hit China, one of it’s biggest markets. It’s said that this may be thanks to the trademark dispute with Proview. Proview says that Apple does not own the iPad trademark in mainland China, and is trying to get the company to halt sales of the tablet. It’s an ongoing dispute that you can catch up on here.
