We knew our iOS devices had accelerometers in them, but we never really stopped to think about how they worked. It’s actually quite interesting. It involves very small pieces of silicon and crazy levels of precision. These things are tiny and there are insane amounts of detail and parts that go into the component.
One thing we like about the video is that it puts things in terms that are easily understandable by anyone. Even my non-technical brain.
Seriously, though. It’s worth watching. The fellow in the vid, Bill Hammock, explains things very clearly.
