Apple board member Mickey Drexler had an interesting bit of information to share today. Speaking to FastCompany, he said that Steve Jobs wanted to build an iCar. Unfortunately, Steve never had his chance to make it happen, or even to design it.
According to Drexler, it was Steve’s “dream” and he believes that the car could “would’ve been probably 50 percent of the market. He never did design it.”
Then there was some talk of Apple’s long-rumored television set. It’s one we’ve heard about many, many times before. He never said it directly, but he did mention that Apple would be “dealing with” the living room in the near future. Worth noting, however, is that AppleInsider says it’s likely that the statement was based on speculation. Heck, for all we know, he could have meant Apple TV.
