If you’re planning on buying a new car in the near future and have a good $50k or so to spend, you can take comfort in knowing that you can pick up a 2013 Cadillac XTS and it will come with an iPad.
According to a report by Wired, the iPad is going to teach folks about the new features in their Caddy. Also mentioned in the report, is that the tablet is part of the show-off factor as Cadillac wants to “reassert itself in the world leader of luxury.” Yeah, that will do it.
This should be interesting. It’s nice to have a fancy tablet in your car for information, navigation and more. However, we do worry about how many Caddy owners will decide to check their Facebook or Twitter feed while cruising down the freeway. It’s just way too tempting.
Well, if you have half a $100 grand or more to spend, this may be the car for you. I’m going to have to stick to my little 2008 Honda Civic with it’s ol’ school CD player.
