Apple Rolls Out iCloud Email Addresses With iOS 6 Beta 3

Developers testing out iOS 6 beta 3 are gaining access to an email address. Those who were originally given an address will be given a matching iCloud email.

Here’s Apple’s wording on how it works: email addresses are now available for iCloud mail users. Users signing up for new Apple IDs, or enabling Mail on their iCloud account for the first time, will automatically receive an email address instead of a email address. iCloud users with addresses that have been used with iOS 6 beta 3 will receive an email address that matches their address.

Looks like just another step in Apple’s transition to iCloud and the end of MobileMe.
