Apple Takes on Sites Selling iOS 6 Betas to Non-Developers

Yeah, we didn’t think this would keep going on. Apple is cracking down on websites that sell iOS 6 betas to iDevice users.

These websites typically sell the software at around $10, and users are allowed to use pre-release software without the need for a developer code.

Apple obviously isn’t thrilled with the idea, and has started to crack down on those websites. They are sending out DMCA notices to said websites and their hosting providers. Not sure what they expected. For one, it’s Apple. Two, they are basically selling Apple’s software.

According to reports, Apple has not targeted users who bought iOS 6 beta versions from the sites.
