Report: The iPad Mini and iPhone 5 Will Be Announced in September

The iPad mini and the iPhone 5 are expected to land later this year. The expected announcement date is set for September 12, with a release on the 21st. The news comes from iMore, so it’s worth taking into consideration. iMore are the folks who nailed the announcement date for the third-gen iPad.

Furthermore, the announcement is said to include Apple’s other portable devices, such as the iPod line and the finalized version of iOS 6. That’s a new iPhone, new iPods, iOS 6 and an iPad mini.

That’s quite a bit of iDevice announcing goodness. Sounds likely given all the rumors and iMore’s accuracy with reporting rumors on the iPad announce date.
