This is pretty freakin’ brilliant. Designer Austin Yang created this typewriter, which is basically a typewriter that fits a landscape-mode iPad on it and lets the user type.
The way it works is clever, but simple. You press a key, and a small nub presses the correct key on the iPad’s built-in keyboard. You can see it in action by watching the video above. It’s actually very cool.
