The parts we’ve been seeing seem to definitely be part of Apple’s next iPhone. They are getting in many hands and being measured and compared to the previous-generation device with side-by-side looks and more.
ETrade Supply recently obtained one of the panels, and did some measuring. They found that the screen measures in at about 4.065 inches, which is slightly larger than the 3.61 inches of the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S. If real, the Home Button is also slighly smaller (by about .3 mm) and the panel is about .1mm thinner. The areas around the earpiece and Home Button have also been reduced.
It also seems that the glass will have better light transmittance and the scratch resistance will be improved.
