The next iPhone is very likely on the way. Now it seems that a part with an NFC (near-field communications) chip has been leaked.
It’s been a while since we’ve heard iPhone NFC rumors, but they are back. It’s also said that there has been NFC code found in past hardware dumps of the upcoming handset. It’s also possible that we will see it now that Apple has announced Passbook, which lets them make electronic purchases and more. It’s something of an electronic wallet. Unfortunately, not much else was said.
