Olympic coaches are using iPhone apps to perfect athletes’ performances, according to a Reuters Report.
For instance, the head coach of the U.S. women’s gymnastics team uses SwingReader and Coach’s Eye, which are for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. He records their routines and watches them frame-by-frame.
This allows him to carefully break down their execution, and find any errors, however minute, they may be.
They also use an app called VideoPix, which is also for iPhone and iPod touch. They use it as well to help the athletes modify their performances, and fine-tune their technique.
