Apple is no stranger to success these days. As we all expected, the iPhone 5 reached a ton of preorders. How many? Try over 2 million.
Phil Schiller, SVP of worldwide marketing at Apple, probably pre-prepares the statements, as he’s used to saying this sort of thing:
iPhone 5 pre-orders have shattered the previous record held by iPhone 4S and the customer response to iPhone 5 has been phenomenal Phone 5 is the best iPhone yet, the most beautiful product we’ve ever made, and we hope customers love it as much as we do.
The iPhone 5 releases on Friday, September 21.
