The steps to activating your iPhone 5 are pretty straight-foward.
Choose your activation type. In most of ours, it’s an upgrade.
We select our wireless number.
You will then receive a confirmation.
Activating your iPhone on Verizon is also a simple process. They have it written out on their site.

Note that some Sprint users have been having some sort of trouble with their iPhone 5 activation. Link
