The iPhone 5 may already be in your hands. iOS 6 and the iPhone are very straightforward, and easy to use. Still, there is a lot to know about the device, and if you: A) are new to the handset and need to learn it; or B) just want to know everything you can about how things work. You can check out the user guide.
It’s a PDF download, and it’s arranged into sections with a table of contents that allows you to click to skip to the section you need to look at. Personally, for manuals like this, we like to save it on our iPad or on our iPhone for easy reference. All you have to do is go to the link and choose to open it in iBooks (or another compatible application that reads PDF files).
The instructions go through all of the stock apps and their functions as well as many of the functions of iOS and the iPhone. There are explanations of Passbook, Weather, Reminders, Clock, Newsstand as well as the new Maps app and just about anything else you may need to know about your iPhone 5 and iOS 6.
