If you have an iPhone 5 and want to jailbreak iOS 6 on your handset, you’re out of luck for the time being. There is no working untethered jailbreak for iOS 6.
This was announced at JailbreakCon in San Francisco by pod2g. The jailbreak that was seen a few days ago is what pod2g called a “failbreak.” It’s something meant for developers, and not intended for the public. A release that’s actually suitable for use by non-developers is still months away.
Oh well. Remember how long it took to get the iPad 2 jailbroken?
