Apple is catching up to consumer demand for the iPhone 5, according to Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster. They polled 20 Apple Stores in the US, and found that the handset is at these locations. This is the first time since the device’s release that it seems consistently available across stores.
Website AppleInsider also contacted several Apple Stores and found that most of them had all versions of the handset. In short, Munster feels that this is the first time a consumer can walk into an Apple Store and pick up an iPhone 5.
It’s nice to have handsets readily available, we will just have to see if they can stay with the demand as holiday shopping picks up.
