Apple plans to open their first retail store in Brazil. That’s according to a email the company sent out to the Brazilian press.
The retail store is set to open in Rio de Janerio sometime in 2013. Here’s a portion of the press release, which was obtained by CultofMac:
“We look forward to the opening of the first Apple Store in Brazil, where we have long standing customers and hope to win many more every day. Can not wait to offer the unique Apple retail to the people of Rio de Janeiro and customers entire region.”
The company is continuing their expansion, and it may do pretty well considering that Apple Stores sell so much.
