iPad Mini Instructions: You Must Have iTunes 11 to Sync

Before you worry too much: Don’t. It’s been confirmed that the latest available version of iTunes does work with the iPad mini. The only problem is that you won’t see its icon when you sync.

That said, the iPad mini’s boxed instructions tell you that you must have iTunes 11 in order to sync. Sadly, iTunes 11 was delayed until the end of November at the latest.

Apple announced about two months back that iTunes 11 would be released in October. Obviously, that didn’t happen. However, CultofMac suspects that Apple may release a minor update soon, if anything to add that iPad mini icon when syncing.
