Microsoft announced their SmartGlass technology earlier this year at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). It allows Xbox users to navigate the consoles menu through the use of their tablet or smartphone.
This also leads to features that could be incorporated into games, so it will be interesting to see how they make use of that. The idea of navigating from your iPad does sound kind of neat. It’s something we’ve done to some extent with Apple’s Remote, but we are interested in how this may work navigating console menus.
The app is free, of course, and you must have an Xbox 360 with whatever latest firmware updates add smartglass support. If you’re good on that, check out the app below:
