Apple Awarded Patent for First iPhone Design

Apple has been awarded a patent for the design of the original iPhone. It was designed by Steve Jobs and Jony Ive.

The original iPhone had am aluminum back, much like the iPhone 5 does now. Overall, as AppleInsider puts it, the design is essentially the same. While the body has changed, drastically, the concept is still a touchscreen phone with a Home button, power button, mute switch, volume controls and a charge port on the bottom.

It’s an old model, but it’s still interesting to see.
