Apple Awarded Patent for Process of Making Curved Glass

Apple has patented a new method for making curved glass using high temperatures.

This is obviously something that Apple could incorporate into the next iPhone. Nothing has been announced or mentioned yet, and a patent doesn’t necessarily mean that Apple will follow through with it.

Also worth noting, is that the patent documentation explains that the process could be used for larger pieces of glass as well, such as that of a TV screen, computer or any other device. We also wonder if it’s something that Apple can use for the curved glass windows of the new spaceship campus.
