Apple Hires Hacker to Plug Potential Security Flaws in OS X

Kristen Paget

Apple has hired hacker Kristin Paget (formerly Chris Paget) and her team in order to discover potential security bugs in OS X.

Paget and her team are best known for being brought onto Microsoft’s team to find exploits in Windows Vista. They ended up finding several potential problems and began plugging them up. However, this caused a delay for Vista, and the reports say that they were even given special shirts that said “I delayed Windows Vista.”

Let’s hope they do the same with other platforms.
