Some iMacs Being Made in the States

iMac 2012

This is interesting. Most of Apple’s hardware was been assembled in China in recent years. Now we’re learning that the new line of iMacs, or at least some of them are being manufactured in the US.

According to MSN Money, the new iFixIt’s teardown of the new iMac revealed this. The inside of the computer actually do say that they are being “Assembled in the USA.”

In the past, many of Apple’s products, if not all, were made at Foxconn facilities. It looks like Apple is striving to make more of this happen, but it’s nothing that can come immediately. China definitely has the resources.
