T-Mobile subscribers have been without the iPhone for a long time. They will soon be able to purchase the handset if they want one officially through the carrier.
Well, at least that’s what the reports say. T-Mobile was not entirely clear about what devices. They simply announced that they will start carrying Apple products. Unfortunately, they didn’t say which Apple products. Of course the iPhone makes sense, as does the iPad.
Still, they are the only major US carrier without the iPhone (AT&T, Verizon and Sprint all carry it), and even some of the smaller carriers out there have the handset. Perhaps it’s about time for them to sell it, too.
