Apple CEO Tim Cook told shareholders during a regular meeting that the company’s new campus should be built by 2016. Apple will move in shortly after.
Cook also said that construction may begin as early as this year. This was originally slated for 2014, so anytime ahead of schedule would be good news to Apple. It’s a huge building, and it’s going to be nice if it’s anything like the pictures we’ve seen.
It was definitely what some called Steve Jobs’ last hurrah. Tim Cook reiterated that, saying, “Steve put a lot of work into this before he passed away, and we’re continuing that.”
