iPad Amplifiear Began as a Kickstarter Project Now it’s Hitting MoMA

Amplifiear

The Amplifiear is an iPad amplifier that makes use of natural acoustics to make the tablet louder. It’s almost the same concept as an acoustic guitar, the hollow body amplifies the sound.

It looks something like the ear of a famous cartoon mouse, and clips onto the iPad over the speaker, redirecting the sound to the listener. It’s interesting, but it’s simple, and it’s good enough to be carried at the MoMA Design Store. It’s cute. It’s modern, and it may just sell several thanks to the extra push.

According to Forbes, this device will amplify the volume by 10 decibels. It also enhances clarity. You can check it out here.
