If these rumors are to be believed, Apple could be planning a new MacBook Air with a Retina display for later this year.
That reports comes from the Economic Times of Taiwan. The company will supposedly release it in the US by the fall of 2013. If accurate, it will add Intel’s Haswell processor, and a Retina display with a little bit of a visual update to the computer itself.
As CultofMac explains, Apple would want to maintain battery life and the current price-point. That can be a bit of a challenge if the screen is going to be updated. Then again, the iPad and iPhone maintained their price points, even with a Retina display.
