Report: iOS 6 ‘Don’t Allow Changes’ Setting is Easy to Bypass

According to reports, a feature that came new with iOS 6 that prevents changes from being made to an iTunes account through a mobile device is easy to work around.

This is something that business and schools use for when they issue out multiple devices. The feature is meant to keep control of which apps are downloaded and approved on the devices. Unfortuantely, it doesn’t seem that it’s working correctly.

It’s done by simply scrolling to the bottom of the iTunes or App Store app in iOS and switching the accounts. Apple has acknowledged the issue. They say it is a bug.

Another bug was found yesterday, and it allows someone to bypass the lock screen.
