One site may be responsible for all those recent hacks of major tech companies. It’s responsible for hacking Apple, Twitter and Facebook.
The site, called iPhoneDevSdk (Do not visit that site), is a place that many companies that focus on mobile development go. Apparently, employees of these companies have visited the site, which has malicious code hidden in the HTML. Apparently it uses a Java exploit.
AllThingsD that the site is also the cause of the hack of some Apple employee laptops as well as the hacking of Twitter. This resulted in 250,000 compromised Twitter accounts. That’s some crazy stuff. Perhaps with this information, employees of these companies, as well as the general public, will know not to visit that site.
