Something like this, but plastic
The long-rumored low-cost iPhone may not have a Retina display, according to a recent report. A day doesn’t go by that we don’t hear some rumor of a cheaper iPhone. It may be a safe bet at this point, as it’s been widely reported by multiple outlets.
This comes from an analyst, so proceed with caution. According to RBC Capital Markets analyst Amit Daryanani, who released a report citing supply chains, says that Apple is planning the lower-end iPhone alongside the iPhone 5S. The low-cost handset will supposedly have the same form-factor as the iPhone 5. However, it will have a plastic body and a non-retina display instead.
The moral of the story, folks? We don’t know anything about the new iPhone. Heck, we don’t even know if it’s real, but it keeps hitting the news.
