Evasi0n Jailbreak Reaches 14 million iOS Devices

We’ve already heard that Evasi0n is the most popular jailbreak in iOS history. It was released a month ago. It reached almost 7 million within its first week, rate of about a million downloads a day.

The jailbreak has now been installed on 14 million iPhones, iPads and iPod touches. Looks like that first week was significant, and it’s slowed down since, but that’s expected since most of the folks wanting to jailbreak their devices likely did it within the first week.

According to a report from CultofMac, there are about 23 million jailbroken iOS devices out there. That means that just over half of running Evasi0n, which is an iOS 6 jb. That’s a lot. However, as they say, that’s just a tiny portion of what’s out there. Still, it’s impressive. Looks like jailbreaking is becoming very popular.
