Report: Adobe CTO Leaves for Apple

Kevin Lynch

Adobe CTO Kevin Lynch is moving to Apple, according to reports.

The departure was mentioned in an SEC filing today. This is effective March 22, and according to the filing, it’s “to pursue other opportunities.” Adobe did say that Lynch will take a position at Apple. If the reports are accurate, he will join the Cupertino company as VP of technologies. He will report directly to senior vp Bob Mansfield. He’s working in the group that Apple created during last year’s shakeup that in which Scott Forstall and John Browett were dropped.

Furthermore, Adobe will not seek a replacement to fill that CTO position.
