Popular iOS Twitter client Twitterrific today added push notifications to its feature set.
Now it has push notifications. Sort of. According to 9to5Mac, this feature is still in beta. Initially, they will test it on 1,000 users (first-come, first-served) and we suppose the developers will test the functionality based on those users. After that, we are sure they will roll it out to a full capacity.
Here’s the list up updates with 5.2:

• Push notifications (enable in settings)
– Twitterrific’s push notification service is currently in beta and will be rolling out to groups of 1,000 users over the next few weeks. If you cannot enable push notifications, try again in a few days.
• User banners now display on profile pages
• Discussions can now be shared via email or Storify
