Finally, an analyst who’s making sense! Citigroup analysts are saying that the iPhone 5S will likely come around September. This will be alongside the long-rumored low-cost iPhone.
As website CultofMac reports, Tim Cook did imply during the Apple earnings call that Apple probably won’t announce any new products until later this year. The low-cost iPhone is also part of the report, and has been rumored for quite some time. It’s possible that it’s real, but even then, word is that it’s designed for emerging markets. If that’s the case, it may not even come to the US.
The report also goes on to mention the next iPad and iPad mini. Don’t expect those until the fall, either.
That’s pretty much what we thought.
