Apple dropped the price of its refurbished iPads and added the current-gen iPod nano to the lineup. The current iPod nano looks a lot like a smaller iPod touch, but runs on a version of the iPod OS designed to look somewhat like iOS. That means no apps. Still, it’s cool for music and movies.

Meanwhile, the iPad line of products (the iPad 2 and iPad 3) received a price drop. You can buy an iPad 3 with wifi and cellular for about $409 right now. That’s not much more than a new iPad 2 wifi if you don’t mind the fact that it’s a refurb, which really isn’t a bad thing.

According to 9to5Mac, that price is about $50 down from the previous refurb price. If you’re in the market for an iPad or iPod nano, and don’t mind a refurbished or previous-generation model now may be the time.
