Apple wants to make session videos available to developers who can’t attend WWDC this year. The company has done this before, so it’s pretty cool that it is continuing with that.
Most developers won’t make it to WWDC. It’s about $1,600 a ticket, and they sell out fast. Last year, according to CultofMac, tickets sold out in less than two hours. If a developer doesn’t happen to be near their computer when they go on sale, they’d may as well forget it.
Apple’s site seems to imply that the videos will be posted immediately by saying they will go up during the conference. This is good news for all those registered developers.
