According to reports, Apple sold out of tickets to its Worldwide Developers Conference in record time. Like, really, really fast. Two minutes fast. That’s a lot of $1,600 tickets.
The good news, if you’re a developer who didn’t get a ticket? You’re not out $1,600+ bucks. Remember, there’s a hotel stay, food and airfare to worry about, too. Okay, maybe that doesn’t make you feel much better, but in all seriousness, take some solace in knowing that Apple will post the WWDC session videos online for your viewing. This will definitely help if you’re a developer who wanted to attend, but won’t be because of limited tickets.
It’s a bummer for many, but at least there are ways to get helpful information if you’re a developer and can’t make the trip.
