Apple’s website has changed over the years. It’s always changing to reflect visual updates to its operating systems. Today, Apple updated its store. That got us thinking about how Apple’s website as a whole has changed overall in the past 10 years (plus one more, but ten sounds better than 11 for some reason).
Let’s take a look at some of the site’s past designs.
Apple hyped the latest version of OS X. It was 10.2. Look at that glassy, bubbly style. reminded me of candy.
Welcome the PowerMac G5.
That doesn’t seem like a lot these days. Apple probably breaks a 100 million songs every five minutes now.
The iPod Nano, and the ill-fated Motorola ROKR! Something’s missing, but we couldn’t pass up the ROKR.
Hello, Mac Pro. Then there was the best ad campaign ever!
Remember the first iPhone? Feels like so long ago.
Then it was the 3G.
The new iMac and MacBook. Heck, it was a whole lot of new stuff. The iMac and MacBook had the coolest updates at the time, though.
Ping? What’s that?
MacBook Air. It was nice to see a redesign. It’s a lovely laptop.
Yeah. Maybe when I can afford it.
And here’s what it looks like today.
