During an interview with Walt Mossberg at AllThingsDigitial’s D11 conference, Google executive Sundar Pichai spoke about Google Play All Access.
Pichai said that the service will come to iOS in the form of an app. It’s something iPhone and iPad users haven’t had while Android owners get to enjoy the service. Google Play All Access is similar to Spotify (if that’s unfamiliar, think of it as Netflix for music.) You stream unlimited music for about $8 a month.
It’s ad-free, and will can make musical selections based on your tastes. According to TUAW, it will allow for the storage of 20,000 songs on the cloud.
